Falcao has spoken for the first time since rumours around the footballing world have seen him moving to Manchester United in the summer.
At the start of the week Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone had rejected the speculation that was started in spanish news outlet Marca a few weeks ago that a deal has already been agreed with Manchester United.
But Falcao has come out and stated he has no idea where the rumours have come from, speaking with Colombian station, RCN Radio, he said:
“In recent weeks I have tried to isolate myself and not think about the rumours about my future
“I do not really know where that information [joining Manchester United] has come from, that is part of the press.
“I’m focused only on Atletico Madrid. I do not let the market rumours affect my performance.”
