PICTURE: Manchester United's Pierluigi Gollini returns to Italy in transfer move

On Wednesday afternoon, Manchester United reserve goal keeper Pierluigi Gollini completed his move back to his home national, moving to Italy to join club Hellas Verona on a permanent deal.

The move had been coming for the young goalkeeper since the end of the season, awaiting paper work and move of the youngster to be completed. But on Wednesday morning, Pierluigi Gollini had completed a medical which sees him sign for Hellas Verona.

Gollini experienced some good football while at Manchester United, being capped more than any other goalkeeper in the youth academy and also experiencing reserve football while Sam Johnson and Ben Amos were out on their loan moves.

Hellas Verona revealed the completed medical images on Wednesday afternoon, we wish Gollini all the best in the future as no doubt, all Manchester United fans do.
