Louis van Gaal Speaks on Woodward Collapse

Louis van Gaal has spoken of his confidence in executive-vice chairman Ed Woodward during the pre-match press conference for Newcastle United.

Woodward has been slated for missing out on Manchester United transfer targets. This has been reignited following United targets, Otamendi and Pedro, going to rival clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.

The United transfer expeditions have claimed to not be as ruthless as they were under Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill.

Van Gaal stated when meeting with the press:

“He’s proven for many many years that he is the right man in the right spot.”

The Dutch manager reiterates that he trusts Woodward and is happy with the job he’s done for him so far.

To date, Ed Woodward has signed: Schneiderlin; Depay; Darmian; Schweinsteiger; Romero; Di Maria; Shaw; Herrera; Rojo; Valdes; Blind; Falcao and; young keeper Vanja Milinković-Savić for Louis van Gaal.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
