Manchester United yesterday announced their first signing of the summer after agreeing terms with Athletic Bilbao to sign 24-year-old midfielder Ander Herrera.
After travelling over to Manchester on Tuesday, the club arranged for the Spaniard to tour the facilities at Carrington before heading to see the stadium where he will play his trade for the next four years, with an option for a fifth.
Below, two photographs of Andre Herrera taken inside Old Trafford before he, his agent and friends returned to Bilbao via private jet on Thursday afternoon.
Ander Herrera is clearly overjoyed at joining Manchester United, he said:
”Signing for Manchester United is a dream come true.
“I have played at Old Trafford for Athletic Club in the UEFA Europa League and it was one of the highlights of my career so far.
“I have joined United to do all I can to help the team reach the club’s objectives. Having arrived on Tuesday,
“I’m excited to now be living in Manchester and I can’t wait for my first game in United’s famous red shirt.
“I will never forget my time with Athletic Club and I’d like to thank the fans and staff for all their support and, above all, wish all my fantastic former team-mates all the best for the future.”

Man utd have now through with the signing of Ader Herrera it is great to see/hear that and Luke Shaw deal done is about to take place within 24hours it pleased me a lot;but i still worried about Arturo Vidal,William Carvalho,Ajen Robben,James Rodriquez and our central defence line. Will man utd but smiles on our face and make us feel happy by signing them?
