David Moyes expresses his delight for players on loan from Manchester United

Manchester United manager David Moyes has stated how impressed he is at the players that are currently out on loan as they continue to impress at their clubs.

Current players on loan from Manchester United:

  • Nick Powell (Wigan Athletic)
  • Jesse Lingard (Birmingham City)
  • Federico Macheda (Doncaster Rovers)
  • Angelo Henriquez (Real Zaragoza)

Speaking with MUTV, The United manager said:

“It tells you about the back-up players we’ve got in the squad that we can allow these players to go on loan, and they are doing well at their respective clubs.

“We have got a really good squad of players and there is a lot of competition for places.

“I’m delighted to see Nick, Jesse and Federico getting goals. It shows they are doing well, especially the young ones, as we’re trying to give them games and get them more practice so they are ready for the real big league when their time comes.”

Federico Macheda has this week returned to Manchester United with a hamstring injury, set to be out for three-weeks but Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dikov is hopeful that they can come to an agreement to sign Macheda back on loan after his recovery.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
