PICTURES: Will Keane makes long-awaited return for Manchester United

William Keane returned to Manchester United on Monday evening in which he played an hour against Bolton Wanderers for the under-21s at Salford City Stadium.

Manchester United won 4-1 on a wet and windy evening at their new home for the 2013/14 season, Will Keane got on the score-sheet in the first half after Larnell Cole’s shot hit Jesse Lingard with the ball falling nicely for the returning striker to smash home.

It was back in May 2012 when Will Keane suffered a bad cruciate knee ligament injury in action for England under-19s against Switzerland at Deepdale.

He managed an hour on Monday night before being substituted for Donald Love.

Great to have Will Keane back as an option for Manchester United under-21s after such a long period on the sidelines.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
