Confirmed Squad: Chelsea vs Manchester United

Squad: Chelsea vs Manchester United

6:02pm: Manchester United travel to Stamford Bridge for the second time in a week, this time for the Capital One Cup.

A ring of changes from Sir Alex Ferguson is expected from the reds 3-2 win at the bridge on Sunday, with Saturday’s visit from Arsenal in the Barclay’s Premier League very much in the back of his mind. Javier Hernandez is expected to start after 2 impressive features and bagging 3 goals in a week against SC Braga and then coming on against Chelsea on Sunday to score the winner.

The Manchester United defence is expected to change somewhat also, with Scott Wootton, Marnik Vermijl and Alexander Buttner chomping and the bit to get involved this season in the cup games.

Chelsea have allocated Manchester United 6,000 tickets for tonight’s game so it should be a fantastic atmosphere in and around Stamford Bridge, one which will hopefully reciprocate the numbers we had at Ewood Park last season.

RedMancunian is going for a score cast of 4-2 to Manchester United this evening, with Hernandez scoring first.
