Manchester United Injury Update

In terms of numbers, Manchester United have done quite well with injuries this season. No where near the number of players have been injured in comparison to last season.

But, as stated by Louis van Gaal, the injury to Luke Shaw was huge as it was the only position that he didn’t have a replacement for. Marcos Rojo has since been shifted over, and is doing a very good job in place of the Englishman.

Now the injury list is starting to build up again. Paddy McNair and Shaw are both out with long term injuries. Antonio Valencia is questionable to play, Ashley Young is still making his way back to match fitness, and now James Wilson and Memphis Depay are out injured.

Speaking to MUTV, Louis van Gaal has revealed the newcomers to the injury list.

The Dutchman said:

“Willo was injured but also Memphis Depay was injured.

“It was a very bad game afterwards because we lost on penalties and also we lost two players.

“We have to wait and see [how long they are unavailable for] because it was only two days ago.”

Manchester United face Crystal Palace tomorrow at Selhurst Park.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
