Manchester United ready to break transfer record on Koke?

According to a report published by the Independent Manchester United are considering a club record £48m bid for Atletico’s Spanish midfielder Koke.

Koke has had a fantastic season and really stood out in what turned out to be a fantastic year for the Madrid club. Manchester United have identified Koke as a target this summer and were hopeful they could negotiate a deal for the 22-year-old, but Atletico are very reluctant to sell so United could go on to activate his £48m release clause.

Koke could be just what Manchester United are looking for, it has been discussed on many a Manchester United blog, the £48million price tag does seem very high but United for years haven’t filled the void in the midfield, now is the time with Louis van Gaal taking charge this would be a huge statement signing. Of course there are other options aswell, Strootman, Kroos and Fabregas have been linked with Manchester United over the past few months.

United would offer Koke a £60,000 a week contract but would be willing to up that if that’s what it takes to land the Spainard.

What do you think? Is the price tag too much? Are the better options available?

Enjoy that? Give it a share!

Koke is a fantastic player with a bright future.Whatever is good does not come cheaply.Just remember Real Madrid buying Ronaldo and Bale at 80 and 85 million pounds respectively and they are now reaping the fruits by being the champions of Europe.

Be a great singing ya have ta buy big ta get the best players and koke will be one of the best players in the world he is only 22 and has a lot of learning ta do.

I really want #mufc to sign this man, although expensive but cheap at that age, KOKE will be a perfect signing for #mufc wish the rumours come to be true.

Only rumours…they just need to fill up column spaces. They’ll b linking almost every midfielder to united these two months…
