FA CUP: Manchester United drawn against Swansea City

The FA Cup third-round draw has just been made from Wembley Stadium and Manchester United have been handed a home fixture against Swansea City.

The draw was done so by former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham and his son Charlie.

Past ten-years FA Cup Third-Round results:

2014: Manchester United vs Swansea City

2013: West Ham 2-2 United, replay United 1-0 West Ham

2012: Manchester City 2-3 United

2011: United 1-0 Liverpool

2010: United 0-1 Leeds

2009: Southampton 0-3 United

2008: Aston Villa 0-2 United

2007: United 2-1 Aston Villa

2006: Burton Albion 0-0 United, replay United 5-0 Burton Albion

2005: United 0-0 Exeter City, replay United 2-0 Exeter City

2004: Aston Villa 1-2 United

The fixtures will now go forward before a television panel at the start of the week to decide on fixture kick-off times and confirmed date, but Manchester United’s match against Swansea City will be played over the weekend of 4th/5th January 2014.
