Manchester United have recently give permission for a surfer flag to be introduced into Old Trafford and there is no better tribute than one being dedicating to the Busby Babes.
Today marks the 55th anniversary of the Munich air disaster and as a mark of respect Stretford End flags have produced this fantastic surfer flag in time for it used before this weekends match against Everton at Old Trafford.
Club legend, Gary Neville became aware of this project and offered his guidance and support, Gary stated that the image of the Busby Babes last ever line up from the game at Red Star Belgrade in 1958, was used in the Manchester United dressing room to give inspiration to the players, suggesting that the design should be based around this picture.
Stretford End Flags hope that flag will be used for all of the big Manchester United home games and that it will inspire the players and fans alike onto more glory, whilst paying tribute to the Babes and their part in the history and tradition of our Football Club.
