Manchester United’s David De Gea has expressed the disappointment of losing the league last season to Manchester City and that this year there will be no slip ups for the reds.
As we all know and would like to wipe from our memories, Agüero scored in the final seconds to send the Premier League title across the way to Manchester City’s trophy cabinet, disappointing, but De Gea insists that this year they will ensure it doesn’t happen again:
Speaking with Inside United, De Gea said:

David De Gea won the RedMancunian save of 2012 for his fantastic last minute save from Juan Mata at Stamford Bridge, he insists that the club did everything last term to get there 20th league title.
“There’s a fine line between success and failure in football and we were very close to pulling off something incredible last year. We battled as hard as we could to win that campaign.
De Gea has secured himself the number 1 spot at Manchester United after being dropped at the start of the season for a few mistakes.
Looking forward as we enter the second-half of the season, he is confident that summer signings have aided the clubs fight for the title, he said:
“Then, when you look at the quality of players we added to the squad in the summer you can’t help but feel confident that this year can be our year.
“We’re really determined to win the league this time around – and we’ll do everything we can to ensure that happens.”
