Louis van Gaal has already had a busy summer, leading his Netherlands national side to an impressive third place in the World Cup over in Brazil. But now, within days of flying back, he is taking control of Manchester United as they tour the United States of America in preparation for the new Premier League season.
The squad flew out on Friday from Manchester, arriving in LA to a sea of Manchester United fans who rarely get a chance to see their idols. During the tour their are many commercial activities planned, including the official kit launch with sponsor Chevrolet. The squad will be wearing the new kit as they face LA Galaxy at the Rose Bowl on the 23rd July 2014.
One of the first things that Louis van Gaal ordered as boss, was a gentle walk down the front of Los Angeles beach for the squad, see pictures below:
