The Manchester United squad have taken their last full training session before the visit of Real Sociedad in the UEFA Champions League to Old Trafford and spirits were high at Carrington, helped by the return to first-team training of Darren Fletcher.
Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic were all missing during the 15-minute media access, but after being added the Champions League squad last week, Adnan Januzaj was present.
Darren Fletcher is not in Manchester United’s Champions League squad for the 2012/13 season, but great to see him featuring in the first team training sessions after slowly recovering from his Ulcerative Colitis condition.
David Moyes was, as ever taking the squads training session, who will be looking to getting back on winning ways as bottom of the group side Real Sociedad visit Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
During the training session the Manchester United boss divided the squad into two teams for a game of keep-ball, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie were appointed captains of both sides.
Spirits very much on a high on a wet and blustery morning in Manchester, hopefully putting in a match winning performance tomorrow night.
Moyes will address the media at 1:30pm this afternoon live from Old Trafford.
