Manchester United made an official announcement on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday afternoon to confirm a new five-year sponsorship deal with Japanese company, Manda Fermentation.
The announcement confirms that Manda will be Manchester United’s first ‘Official Nutritional Supplements Partner’ – To add to over 35 other sponsorships that the club has gained in recent years.
For many the announcement was met on social networking site, Twitter, with sarcasm as the club do a deal with yet another sponsor but were totally hopeless in landing player deals during the summer transfer window other than Guillermo Varela & Marouane Fellaini.
