It is understood that Sheffield United are currently in discussions regarding a loan transfer for Manchester United’s winger, Facundo Pellistri.
Though Pellistri has made appearances off the bench in the first two Premier League fixtures for Erik ten Hag’s team this season, he’s eyed as a dynamic talent. Sheffield United believe he could bring a fresh dimension to their team.
The young 21-year-old is also on the radar of other teams including Southampton.
Pellistri made his move to Manchester United in 2020 and spent two loan periods with Alaves. His skills have been internationally recognised, with 12 caps for Uruguay and participation in the previous year’s World Cup held in Qatar.
In a recent report from the MEN News, they mentions that Manchester United are pleased with Pellistri’s progress, and the club’s manager, Ten Hag, holds him in high regard.
Pellistri’s contract with Manchester United runs until 2025.
