Manchester United are at the moment, refusing to meet the asking price for Jadon Sancho and they could now reportedly miss out on finalising a deal before the end of the transfer window.
Dortmund have recently come out and stated that the 20-year-old would not be leaving Germany this summer. Meanwhile, Sancho was involved in Dortmund’s first pre-season friendly ahead of next season on Wednesday in a 6-0 victory in which Sancho featured for 45-minutes.
Reports overnight according to the Daily Mail that Manchester United are not prepared to meet the demands that Dortmund want a total of £108m for Sancho, even though an agreement personally between Manchester United and player has reportedly been sorted.
The report claims that Manchester United’s first proposed a deal would have seen Jadon Sancho take a pay cut, while the second would only have matched his current £190,000-a-week wages.
Dortmund are determined to keep Sancho unless the full asking price is met, it is now on Manchester United ‘resurrect the situation’.
Jadon Sancho is United’s first choice this transfer window, who enjoyed a very good 2019-20 season for Dortmund, with 20 goals and 20 assists in all competitions.
Manchester United & Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are now said to be looking at alternatives if the transfer does not go through for Sancho, with Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele on their radar.
