United reach 'complete agreement' for first summer transfer

A little known secret around the footballing world is that Manchester United are more than interested in bringing Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford this summer, and a move that overnight is looking more and more likely.

The transfer has been on and off over the past week but last night as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano that Manchester United have completely agreed personal terms with Jadon Sancho and his agent, now just down for the clubs to agree on a payment plan.

Dortmund had denied that Sancho would be leaving the club this summer and claimed they had secretly extended his contract until the year 2023.

But, in a online podcast on Tuesday evening, Fabrizio Romano seemed to suggest that the transfer is not dead in the water, revelations that certainly perked up Manchester United fans on social media.

The Sancho transfer saga might go on for a few more weeks yet, but with the personal side of things complete, we really need the clubs to come to some agreement on the funding of this transfer.

It is now clear that Jadon Sancho himself might have to put in an official transfer request for Dortmund to part ways.
