United, who hold a 3-0 lead after last Thursday’s first leg after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s hat-trick, were missing both England internationals last week, and for Sunday’s 1-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup fifth round. Speaking at his post-match press conference, Mourinho does not expect either to return in time to make the trip to France:

“Rooney is injured. Jones is injured. I don’t think they will recover (in time) Rooney and Jones haven’t trained with the team yet so I don’t think they will be there for Wednesday.”
