Manchester United sign Newport County Defender Regan Poole for a fee of £100,000.

The 17 year old defender’s fee could increase to £400,000.

Poole, who plays for the Welsh U17’s, has travelled up to Manchester to have a medical.

United have beaten Liverpool and Brighton to acquire the signature of the Newport county defender.

After completing his medical and agreeing personal terms, Poole will join up with the Red Devil’s youth team and play alongside other top prospects like Axel Tuanzebe, Dimitri Mitchell and Marcus Rashford.
