Adnan Januzaj Loaned to Borussia Dortmund

Adnan Januzaj has been sent to German side Borussia Dortmund on a season long loan. Dortmund were initially interested in acquiring the Belgian youngster on a permanent deal.

He was the shining light during a bleak season, under David Moyes, but now desperately needs consistent first team football, which he would struggle to get in the Manchester United team.

United’s top prospect joins up with ex-team mate Shinji Kagawa, who departed Old Trafford last summer.

Januzaj will be joining Dortmund to try and help them reclaim second place in the Bundesliga, after having a very poor 2014/14 season.

In 60 games as a Red Devil, Adnan scored 5 goals and claims 6 assists. This loan move will be very good for his development, hopefully he will get consistent play time and improve his physical presence.

Januzaj will take to the yellow-and-black sporting the number 9 for the 2015/16 season.
