Top 10 Red Devil Scorers in Europe

After yesterday’s hat-trick against Club Brugge, Wayne Rooney has now scored 233 goals for Manchester United. This puts the 29 year old just 17 goals behind Sir Bobby Charlton’s epic record of 249 goals for Manchester United.

This also gets the English striker just 3 Champions League, or Europa League goals away from being United’s highest goal scorer in European competitions.

The current Manchester United Top 10 Goal Scorers in Europe table is as follows:

Ruud van Nistelrooy – 38
Wayne Rooney – 36
Ryan Giggs – 29
Denis Law – 28
Paul Scholes – 26
Sir Bobby Charlton – 22
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – 20
Andrew Cole – 19
Cristiano Ronaldo – 16
David Beckham – 15

Before the end of his career, Rooney looks set to beat the overall and the European record and become Manchester United’s all time top goal scorer.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
