Manchester United Offer €190 Million

Manchester United offer €190 million (£139.6 million) to trigger the release clause in Neymar’s current contract at Barcelona. There have also been reports that the Brazilian has claimed to be open to a move to Old Trafford.

The 23 year old is one of the best footballers in the world. He already has 63 caps for Brazil, in which he scored 43 goals. Over his 92 Barcelona games he’s scored 54 and set up 26, whilst mostly being in Messi’s shadow.

If a move to United were to go through, Neymar would be the star player, at the biggest, and most supported, football club in the world. It’s also very likely that he would become the most expensive player by quite a large margin.

In the Champions League final last year he scored Barcelona’s final goal to secure them the win over Juventus. Prior to this he scored in both Quarter final legs and Semi final legs of the competition, sealing 7 goals across the whole knockout stage.

No matter how implausible, the Neymar rumours have got Manchetser United fans very excited for the final week of the transfer window.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
