Former United midfielder returns to the club as ambassador

They said he had three-lungs due to the amount of running he would do for Manchester United on the pitch, and now Louis van Gaal’s United have announced that Ji-Sung has become an official ambassador for the club.

Manchester United fans will be able to welcome back their former midfielder this coming Sunday, as Ji-Sung Park will be officially presented as an ambassador on the pitch at Old Trafford before the Everton match.

Coming in as an ambassador, Ji-Sung Park will represent the club in various events around the world, including the Asian market where Park himself has a huge following.

Speaking about his appointment with the official website, Ji-Sung Park said:

“I have fond memories of my time at Manchester United and I am delighted and honoured to have become an ambassador for the club.

“Some of the best moments of my life and career were spent here and I will never forget the great support I had from the club and the fans.

“I am looking forward to once again representing United and sharing some of these memories with our global fan base.”
