Manchester United have arrived into Miami for the final of the Guiness International Champions Cup at the Sun Life Stadium against Liverpool. After beating AS Roma, Inter Milan and Real Madrid in their group stages, Manchester United have had a fantastic start to life under Louis van Gaal.
United take on Liverpool in a match that will only be friendly by name, a match at any level of football against your bitter rivals is anything but friendly. Louis van Gaal will send out his strongest XI to face Brendan Rodgers men in Miami, with Danny Welbeck the only name from training missing during their last session before the final.
Good news for United’s defence, as Chris Smalling returned to training, he will be assessed before the match to see if he can slot in at the back, if deemed not ready then the impressive Michael Keane will continue his role.
Manchester United vs Liverpool kicks off at 1am BST on Tuesday morning, live on MUTV.
