Forget the value over the years this will prove to be good value for money. We have just signed a lad capable of been the best lb of his generation. Along with Herrera the club and Woodward deserve credit. With more players promised the future under van gaal looks promising

I’ve got to admit, with all this spending in a little worried. If we keep splashing cash like this then were will we find the money for when Rooney holds us to ransom and want’s his contract bumped up again?

shaw might be ridiculously overpriced but still better than not signing anybody and make evra playing 40+ games

next stop a defensive midfielder and a wide forward… and maybe an experienced central defender
