Louis Van Gaal will take over at Old Trafford after the Netherlands are knocked-out or end up winning the FIFA World Cup over in Brazil, and Sneijder has admitted that all Dutch players would find it hard to decline Louis Van Gaal if asked to move to Manchester.

Speaking to the press over in Brazil, Wesley Sneijder said:

“In the Netherlands, van Gaal is something like the head teacher of a school. Not everyone is lucky enough to get into his good books.

“He trains his players very hard and always expects the highest standards. I am happy at Galatasaray, I have established myself at the club and have settled in.

“However, if van Gaal were to make me an offer, I would have to at least consider it. Nobody from the Netherlands can reject van Gaal.”

Wesley Sneijder is one of a number of Dutch players who have been linked to a move to Manchester United this summer, including Arjen Robben, Memphis Depay, Daley Blind and Stefan De Vrij, amongst others.
