More injury woes for Manchester United with Young the latest casualty

David Moyes confirmed on Friday afternoon during his press conference at Carrington that Ashley Young is the latest Manchester United player to miss action due to injury, after suffering a shoulder injury after clashing with Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Young is now more than likely to miss both of Manchester United’s fixtures in the next week, with Swansea City in the FA Cup on Sunday and then a trip to Sunderland in the semi-final of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening.

The United boss said that the shoulder injury will “keep him [Young] out for a time, we’re not sure exactly how long yet.”

With Ashley Young out for a period of time, it might be a chance for £15million man Wilfried Zaha to take his chance, especially with David Moyes stating that he will rotate the squads from Sunday to Tuesday, commenting that it is not right to ask footballers to play two games in three-days.

It sounds like Robin van Persie could miss both cup fixtures also, with Moyes adding “We will let you know when he is ready.”

Enjoy that? Give it a share!

jesus that moyes is some plonker, still harping on about the non event of a tackle from Lloris, the ball had gone, Young got his shot / cross away, momentum carried Lloris into Young… it was a simple collision. The ref got it right and the team that won deserved it…indeed Spurs could have been 3 goals up in the first half had Lennon and Soldado not missed sitters.. moyes is just looking for excuses as he’s been a complete failure since taking over from old red nose. And the cheek of united still going on about this is remarkable considering all the diving and cheating, harassing of refs etc that went on over the last 20 years… the pedro mendes goal that wasn’t, the ronaldo dive for the peno that won united the game 1-0 a few years back… and there’s dozens more so up yours moyes, all your bitching just makes you look like a sniveling little bitch… like most manure fans. COYS

Don’t worry used 4-3- 3 with macheda,kagawa,chicharito- attack
giggs,carrick,fletcher-midfield
buttner,vidic,rio,fabio- defence.

In second half change it 4-2-3-1 with lingard, zaha joined them.

United fans forget it we will not lift title league this season who knowns we will not qualify for champion league all becoz of one person and you know it.
