Champions League: Manchester United Drawn Against Olympiakos

The draw for the round of 16 knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League was made on Monday morning in Neon with Manchester United being drawn against Olympiakos in a two legged affair in February 2014.

Despite the bad form that Manchester United have started with this season in the league, that has not been shown in the Champions League during their group stage, finishing top without losing either home or away. Not a bad start for David Moyes’ first season in the biggest club competition in world football.

The full draw of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16:

Manchester City vs Barcelona

Manchester United vs Olympiakos

AC Milan vs Athletico Madrid

PSG vs Bayer Leverkusen

Galatasaray vs Chelsea

FC Schalke vs Real Madrid

Football Club Zenit vs Borussia Dortmund

Arsenal vs Bayer Munich

Only negative to signing players in January is they will be cup tied for the champions league. With the exception of buying a player like Baines who isn’t currently playing in the champions league.
