Manchester United’s Will Keane yesterday started his first loan move away from the club, joining up with Championship side Wigan Athletic in a deal which will see him there until New Year’s Day.
Absolutely fantastic news from both the club and player, after fighting back to full match fitness after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury while playing for England’s Under-19s, it has been a long time in recovery after missing the entire 2012/13 footballing season, but has come on really well since his return.
Will Keane joins up with Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell, who is currently on a season-long loan, this weekend, if started, Will Keane could be up against his twin-brother, Michael Keane after he also made a loan move away from Old Trafford. Joining up with Derby County who they face on Saturday.
Great news about both the Keane brothers loan moves, we will keep a close eye on how they get on through-out December.
