Midfield legend Paul Scholes returns to Manchester United

There are many former Manchester United players that have been labelled as ‘legends’ in the game, but one of our personal favourites is Paul Scholes, so it is great news that he has returned to Manchester United as a coach.

On Tuesday night, Paul Scholes was assistant to Nicky Butt for Manchester United under-19s game against Bayer Leverkusen at Salford City Stadium, a game which the reds won 4-3, read the match report here.

Manchester United announced that Paul Scholes was to be assisting Nicky Butt on their instagram account as shown below:

Albeit on a game-to-game basis at the club it is fantastic to have Paul Scholes back, his experience and knowledge being passed down to the youngsters and future of the club.

Welcome back, Scholsey!

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
