Luis Nani keen to prove himself as United reject several bids

Luis Nani, who had looked like he would be heading out of Manchester United this summer, has stated a claim to fight for his place at the club as it is reported that the Premier League Champions have turned down several bids for the winger.

Through-out the summer it seemed that Monaco would be the club the Nani would be moving too in a £10million deal, a move that the player and club last week were not willing to comment on.

Nani, now 26, is keen to sign a brand new deal to commit his future at Old Trafford after it seemed he would be heading out of the door.

The Portuguese winger missed Manchester United’s pre-season tour of Asia and Australia as he recovered from nose surgery, but after playing and scoring two goals in each game against Barnsley and Crewe is more than ready to get going again.

Speaking after the Crewe game, Nani said:

“I hope to win the league again and, for my personal wishes, I want to be at my best and score a lot of goals. Like I said, I just need to be at my best and then everything will come together

It was confirmed this evening in the Guardian, that Manchester United have indeed turned down ‘several’ bids down for Luis Nani, the only player the club are willing to sell is Bebe.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!

I disagree Anderson shows he has game but to frequently he cant perform has a good game then a bad game hes been at unites for 6 years i know hes had injuries but should of stamped his mark bu know buy the main point is goals hes not a scoring midfielder and that’s what we need to take pressure off the strikers

Nani is a great winger and I will be delighted if he signs a new contract with ManU. Hopefully (unlike with Ferguson), Moyes wants this to happen. I would also like to see Anderson stay at old Trafford because when fit, he is far and away our best attacking midfielder.

Nani going no where? I am more than happy over this news. Pls lets bring in Felaini and Garay, then we own the EPL and Champions league.

Personally i think a fully nani on the right and zaha on the left with rooney behind rvp with Carrick and kagawa in midfield is a tastey front 6 a breaths goals goals goals or even jones instead of Carrick

nani is a best football player like his friend christiano ronaldo.im sure that ,if we loose him we will regret it because many club in europe need him.please staff of manchester united keep nani,he get a place in red devils club
