Adnan Januzaj targets first-team football with Manchester United

Adnan Januzaj has spoken for the first time since breaking through to the first-team on Manchester United’s pre-season tour, stating that he is ready to fight for a place at Old Trafford.

The United youngster insists that he doesn’t want to go out on loan and would rather stay at the club and progress through to the first-team.

The Belgian youngster has really impressed on Manchester United’s pre-season tour of Asia, he was very unlucky not to be on the score sheet against both Singha All Star XI and Yokohama F.Marinos with shots firing just wide of the mark.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Adnan Januzaj said:

“My target for the season is to try and get some games for the first team

“I have not spoken to the manager about it yet but I would prefer to do that rather than go out on loan.

“That is what I came here for. Everyone wants to play for Manchester United.”

Enjoy that? Give it a share!

this lad need to be given more minutes so that he can prove himself as a young player together with lingard, zaha welbeck, cleverly. but an experience midfielder needed.

Oh God, please let him be in the team. I’m only thinking the worst scenario that he may want to leave if Moyes decides to loan him. Please don’t be another Pogba.
