Hernandez not leaving Manchester United
Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez has no intentions of leaving the club this coming summer, according to his agent.
Hernandez, now 25, has fallen down the pecking order following the introduction of Robin Van Persie last summer, however his agent maintains that he is more than happy at the club.
His agent, Eduardo Hernandez said,
“He is very happy at Manchester United. Javier has been there three years and has won the league twice. Not many can say they have achieved that.”
Last season Hernandez only made a handful of apperences for Manchester United however the Mexican still managed to score 10 goals, most memorable was his hat-trick against Aston Villa away.
Real Madrid and Juventus have been reported to be interested in Hernandez. However he looks set to stay in Manchester for another season at least.
In three seasons with Manchester United, Hernandez has made 117 appearances and scored 50 goals.
A quote from Javier Hernandez from midway through the 2012/2013 season sums up his views on being a team player at Manchester United.
Speaking with manutd.com last season, Hernandez said:
“If you ask all the players in the world, they’re always going to tell you that they want to start every game. You have to be aware of the other players.
There are five strikers here, they want to be part of the game and the only thing I need to prove in one minute or in 90 minutes is that I want to play.”
