The father of ex-Manchester United footballers Gary and Phil Neville, Neville Neville has been arrested on suspicion of indecent assault.
GMPolice are investigating a sexual assault which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning in the North Manor area of Bury.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement:
“A 63-year-old man from Bury was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault and has been bailed till May pending further enquiries.
Enquiries are ongoing.”
The news of Neville Neville’s arrest was released only hours before Neville’s son Gary will play a key role in helping England prepare to face Montenegro in their World Cup Qualifier.
