Sir Alex Ferguson yesterday confirmed at his weekly press conference that Wayne Rooney will miss this weekend’s trip down to London to face Queens Park Rangers in the Barclays Premier League.
Rooney was absent and watched from the stands on Monday night against Reading in the FA Cup with a sinus problem, Wayne has returned to training at Carrington but Sir Alex Ferguson feels that it is unlikely that he will be available at to travel this weekend.
Sir Alex said:
“He came in for the first time yesterday and the medical people are dealing with him, he has been on medicine and hopefully he will start training today, but I wouldn’t think he would be available on Saturday.”
