Tunnicliffe's dad wins £10k on his son

Mick Tunnicliffe, father of Ryan, bet £100 on his son playing for Manchester United one day when he was only 9 years old at odds of 100-1, last night against Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup Tunnicliffe came on in the 77th minute to earn his father £10,000 upon cashing in his bet.

Tunnicliffe, made 30 appearances during his loan period with Peterborough United last season but the player who came through the ranks at Carrington had to wait until last night to finally get his chance with the first team.
