News has come to ‘light’ today that Manchester United are to plan a 25-metre long red neon sign at Carrington Training Complex.
As you can see from the plans above, Manchester United have plans put in place with Marshal Kypriadis Associates for the new sign, walkway and two infinity pools that will collect water on either side.
Privacy for the first team seems to be paramount with these plans as the walkway allows players to go direct from the complex to their cars without being seen by any prying eyes from fans and media around Carrington itself. The walkway will not only be for the first team as it also links together with academy and adjacent training centre.
The planning directors of the sign, Marshal Kypriadis Associates, have stated that the new neon sign will provide a “wow factor” to Carrington.
The neon sign, new medical facilities, new road and more, with an expected budget of £25m is expected to go before Trafford council on Novermber 16th to finalize the planning, in which will turn Carrington in to a super complex for Manchester United.
