French giant representatives meet with United midfielder

It is seemingly one transfer that all Manchester United fans hope will happen, the marmite player that is Marouane Fellaini has not signed the new deal that has been put on the table at Old Trafford and come see a move to AC Milan or Marseille.

It is the former that have come out fighting to get a transfer for Fellaini sorted, with a move to Ligue 1 side Marseille, according to L’Equipe.

The club’s sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has reportedly met with Marouane Fellaini’s representatives in recent days to discuss bringing him to France when his Manchester United contract expires this summer.

L’Equipe also state that the Belgian international, who will be at this summers world cup in Russia, wage demands could scupper the move, as he would like the same or more money than he is on now at Manchester United.

Previous reports suggest that Manchester United are keen to retain Fellaini’s services going forward by offering a one-year contract extension, one that Fellaini would prefer a longer term to secure a place within the squad and of course, more money from his contract.

Do you think we should keep Fellaini this summer?
