Fans told to stump up cash for Cambridge at home, or face having their season ticket barred.
Manchester United’s failure to navigate through a seemingly easy tie away to Cambridge United, has resulted in a replay at Old Trafford. To add insult to injury for fans who sat through another dismal ninety minutes, they awoke the next day to an email informing the fans that payment was to be took midweek, just before the usual end of the month pay-day.
Upon further investigation Manchester United have not decided to lower ticket prices, and although many are happy to pay to watch their side some fans were unable to meet the deadline, but they were willing to pay for their tickets by the end of the week. A reasonable request. The response was a firm NO! With fans facing being barred from Premier League fixtures if demands are not met.
Whether or not you think this is harsh, surely there should have some room for negotiation following a quick turnaround. Yet again the fans have been left out to dry, poor once again from Manchester United.
