Manchester United plan to spend £50million+ on two Real Madrid stars?

Manchester United are reportedly planning a January transfer swoop to sign Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid, with an overall valuation of £53million.

After the shocking summer transfer window for Manchester United, with multiple failed attempts to sign such players as Cesc Fabregas, Leighton Baines, Fabio Coentrão and Ander Herrera, they are now planning to strengthen up the squad during the January window, with Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria the latest to crop-up in the transfer rumour mill after Phil Neville was spotted scouting during Real Madrid’s 7-3 victory over Sevilla.

Reports in both France (Le Sport) and Spain (Mundo Deportivo) link the Real Madrid pairing with a move to Manchester United, with Khedira being valued at £35million and Di Maria coming in at just under £18million.

There is no doubt that David Moyes will be given a transfer budget to spend during the January transfer window, top of the list during the summer was Leighton Baines, no doubt that the club will return in their pursuit of the England left-back with the likelihood of Patrice Evra leaving at the end of the season.

United’s latest signing Marourane Fellaini is likely to be on the sidelines for a lenghty period of time, after needing an operation on his wrist which the club have delayed, likely to go ahead just before Christmas. United target man Khedira has made no secret that he feels that Real Madrid have treated him unfairly over the past few months, which hints to a move away from La Liga.

Khedira recently said:

“I’m not a Spanish player, I did not cost a lot of money and I am one of Mourinho’s disciples.

“I started the season on the bench or in the stands. Even if I play well, I am the scapegoat and so will not be properly valued.”

Do you think Khedira or Di Maria from Real Madrid would be a good addition to Manchester United’s squad? Comment in the section below.

I think di maria n khedira can be a veri good boost to our current squad and i think this tym round moyes will b serious in his transfers policy.

I personally think that dia maria and sami khadiera would b great buys everyone keep’s talking about a CAM but i believe moyes is already looking at januzej becoming uniteds next Paul scholes? Maybe not thus season but come the start of next season with another 8 months of strength building in the gym he will b ready. But at the same time i wouldn’t mind kagawa plus cash for dortmunds kadunga. He’s a quality attacking midfielder. But we will c i personally believe that the sqaid we got know is gonna b what we have to finish season with we might b able to get one played from real Madrid but not 2 especially in january. But u never now. I’m just happy that united r gathering pace and starring to play how moues want’s and i have always said and will still do so at end of the season for mi top for is my main concerns don’t care about trophies thus seasonof one come’s fine bit top 4have a nice break then buy buy buy and kick in next season
moyes is the man for the job

No nick powell is the new scholes. He score goal too like scholes the long range shot goal and played the same position as him.

Moyes bring back young gun n.powell and j.lingard the are teriffic in their loan spell. They show that the deserve to played for united.

Yes i agree lingard and Powell r future united players but thats what they r future players there’s no reason why they can’t spen thus season in the championship and the season after in the prem them i think they will b ready to right for first team onners. Especially when u look at poor zaha he’s reaches a high level of performance and united have destroyed that there’s no way anyone can day he could have had 20 minutes here and 20 minutes there for the frst team and have the same impact as januzej??? That’s why i don’t want lingard and Powell back yet as i feel there hard work would have been i. Vain another 18 months and yes i agree bench warmers pushing for first 11 dedinatly

Besides it would b nice for a chance for united to be ble to being in world class players as if i recall we have never brought a top world class played before van persie. We’ve brought players and they have become world class but we’re r in an era we’re thing’s have to change even arsene wenger had realised this and so should we???

Both of them would be world class additions. Sami would add strength to CDM, what Fellaini have so far lacked. He is also cabable to make game. No, he is not Fabregas nor Thiago but still he would be great. Di Maria is a player I have admired for a long time and it would be great to see him arriving. Antonio is a bit one trick wonder, he is a useful squad member but not a world beater, Di Maria can be.

Lingard, Powell etc will be future stars IF they keep on developing but honestly, will anyone be able to await say 2 to 3 seasons for them to grow up? I doubt that. Therefore we need some additions. Until recently I thought Gundogan would be the answer, but with his back problems I think he is too much of a gamble IMHO. Januzaj might be the key for our CM issue so it will solve itself. But CB, we desperately need a CB or two. Rumours about Hummels and Subotic have been floating, but I think they are overpriced by Klopp. Am I the onlyone who would take Badstuber in a heartbeat? (Yes, he is now injured but IMO one of the Top5 in the world in his position)

Seriously hope this isn’t true we don’t want there cast offs so they can pay their ronaldo an bale bill why do English clubs keep doing this leave them with these misfit rubbish an exorbitant wage bill to take them out of the market please

A. dimaria, Reus plus khedira would be a great transfer swoop idea if atall if will happen. we badly need them at old trafford.

world class playmaker is no1
no doubt about it
we need wingers cause thats who we are..
some muscle – maybe fellani …..
playmaker needs to be a red through and through
we are carrying too many blackburn quality players right now
