Celtic plan to loan Manchester United's Alexander Buttner

Manchester United’s Alexander Buttner is in talks with Scottish Champions Celtic on a possible loan move for the season, according the STV.

Buttner, has been rumoured to be leaving the club either on loan or a permanent move as the likely-hood of Leighton Baines coming in.

Celtic are keen to get Buttner on loan for the 2013/14 season. As of yet, there has been no confirmation from either club on a possible loan move but Buttner’s representative, Aleksander Bursac, told STV:

“Yes, Celtic would like to take the player on loan for the season.

“We feel it would greatly help the boy’s development to be playing regularly at that level and in European football. Celtic are a really great club.

“They [Celtic] have been back and forward in dialogue with Manchester United. It’s in their hands now as we are not sure if they want to release him.”

Is he going to get that much game time with the Bhoys? I don’t see it. From what I’ve seen of him, he isn’t going to inspire much. Good luck to Liverpool F.C. by the way Celtic/Liverpool–The only United team that matter.
