Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand’s new book, Rio: My Decade as a Red will be published by Bonnier Books in hardback from Friday 9th August, to coincide with his testimonial match at Old Trafford.
The book contains over 200 images, covering aspects of Rio’s early career at West Ham and Leeds United, moving on to focus in more depth on his time at Manchester United. It covers the United days season by season, from Rio’s first Premier League title triumph of 2002-03, the Champions League success in 2007-08, climaxing with Rio’s spectacular 87th minute, match-winning goal in Sir Alex Ferguson’s last home game as Manchester United manager.
