LET ROONEY GO, HE’LL REGRET LATER, HE FITS MIDFIELD BUT HE IS INSISTING 4 WHAT HE CAN’T MANAGE WELL. RONALDO WENT, MANU, STILL D BEST, LET ROONEY GO, 2O13/14 SEASON CUP IS 4 MANU.

yes ronaldo went to madrid, if we sell rooney to chelski we strngthen the opposition, hence selling our chances for the title. plus we are close to the closing of the window without new signings.

dea gea, rafeal, evra, vidic, evans, carick, clevaly, nani, yong, kagawa and rvp. Sub anderson, jessy lingard, lindegard, zaha, chicharito, welbarck, fabio and phil jones

Well what a disappointment. Lancashire Senior Cup final 2013. Lots of future Utd stars, against Man Sh too. But no mention of the result on this or other Man Utd websites. Here I am, stuck in France with no way to find out what the result is. Ah, wait a sec, let’s try the MCFC website. Aaaah, so there it is.

Come on Utd websites. This is our future we’re on about here. What a fantastic starting XI. Yes, look at it. Half of them will be in the first team in years to come.

Get behind them. Show respect. I expected better from RM, Busby Babes and even the official ManItd website.

Shame on you all.

Well, the result is on the Man City website, even on Wikipedia, but no one from the Red side of M/C seems to think it important enough.
For those who are still in the dark, we won 2-1.

PLEASE GIVE US AN UPDATE!

So so sad.

Thanks to the Man Shi website here is a totally unbiased account of the match!!!

Manchester United denied City EDS a first taste of silverware this season with a 2-1 win in the Lancashire Senior Cup final.

Alex Nimely gave City a dream start when he scored after 15 minutes but Manchester United hit back with goals from Davide Petrucci and Jesse Lingard on either side of half-time to lift the cup.

City were looking to end a 39-year wait for success in the competition at Leyland’s County Ground, having last won the title in 1973/74 with a win over Morecambe.

More familiar opposition stood in the way of the trophy this time in the form of neighbours Manchester United, meeting City in the final for the first time in the competition’s 134 year history.

With members of Patrick Vieira’s EDS side only returning from the u19 competition in Oberndorf on Monday evening, the XI was a mixture of younger under-18s and those too old for the competition in Germany.

That meant that Kieran Kennedy and Harry Bunn were able to resume their injury comebacks from lay-offs which blighted their 2012/13 campaigns.

There was also room in the squad for England youth international right-back Ashley Smith-Brown and Jack Byrne who both trained with Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team this week, and a place in the line-up for Wales u21 international Emyr Huws, who captained the team
