    Hi
I’m an Official member but it says I’m not eligible to apply for tickets but you say we can. Is it actually just season ticket holders who can apply?

    • RedManc says:

Seems to be a problem with the official website as they released ballot information today, season ticket holders and executive members can apply through the website but they have yet to activate the official members options. As Ed says, phone them up for direct membership application but their website should allow members to apply soon.

    • Chris says:

      Hi Sean,

I have applied for 2 tickets as a standard member and I haven’t even renewed it for next season yet.

Hello! Im From Slovakia, so i dont own any membership or season ticket, but i´ll be in England at that time and I´d love to go to Wembley, I´ve been to OT in March for the first time, and i need another dose of Live United Experience, so, please, what´s the best way to get tickets then? Taking chances only with genereal sale is quite risky, i guess, it´d be better for me to have some “insurance”.. Thanks for any advice!

    • RedManc says:

Yes Callum, every season ticket and executive member should be allocated a ticket. In past community shield’s they have gone on general sale, that includes against Chelsea and Manchester City, so a friendly inside Wembley Stadium against Wigan Athletic will be no different.

  4. Jeremy Liem says:

Hi ,I’m a new member to the club and I want to apply for the tickets but the site said “you are not eligible to apply for tickets on this event for this time”

    • RedManc says:

Yes John, they usually do them over the phone and a maximum of 4 per person on general sale, but we would imagine that they will put that up to 6 per person this year.

We will let you know here, in a new article and also via our twitter networks of @RedMancunian and @MUFC_Tickets once tickets go on general sale.

Hi I’m from Saudi arabia and I want tickets for the game if I can get them from the united website or by calling them ( if yes can you give the number ) do I have to be a member

  8. Tash says:

Hi, I’m an official member and trying to get two tickets for the CS, but won’t allow me as a I need to ‘assign’ a name/number for the 2nd ticket. Any idea what I should do? Are they likely to go on general sale, and if they do, it will be the higher tier seats left, so not sire whether to risk the wait? Many thanks!

  9. Vinney says:

Hi, all when do tickets go on general sale for the community shield as it seems like I’m waiting for ever. Cheers

  10. alex says:

    hi
when will the community shield tickets be on general sale? will anyone be able to purchase them? thanks

  11. Sean says:

    Hello,

I have some return train tickets available for the Community Shield weekend. You can buy as singles or as returns and feel free to make me an offer as I just want to get rid of them.

    MANCHESTER PICCADILLY – LONDON EUSTON – SAT 10th AUG 18:35 – £12.50 X2

    LONDON EUSTON – MANCHESTER PICCADILLY – SUN 11TH AUG 20:15 -
    £25.00 X2

I also have a young persons railcard ticket available for £15.00

If you’re interested let me know and we can see what we can sort out. Tickets are ridiculously expensive now and if you were struggling to get down apart from coach / car this may be one of the best options.

  12. Sam barrow says:
