David Moyes starts work at Manchester United early?

David Moyes this morning arrived at Carrington Training Complex for the first time since it was announced he would take over as Manchester United manager from Sir Alex Ferguson.

Moyes’ six-year managerial contract does not officially start until July 1st 2013, but appears meetings and scheduling will take place early.

Speaking yesterday, Moyes said:

I’ll probably be doing two jobs for the next week or so,I’ll go into Finch Farm [Everton’s training ground] some of the days next week and make sure everything’s in place for whoever the incoming manager is.

Most of it is anyway, but I’ll just make sure that everything’s as ready as I can leave it.

Manchester United’s under-21s play in their national final this evening against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, it is rumoured that David Moyes will be present to observe the younger generation of Manchester United.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
