Nemanja Vidic and Ashley Young injuries not serious

Nemanja Vidic and Ashley Young went off on Sunday for Manchester United against Liverpool with injuries but the club has confirmed today that both are not serious.

Rumours around social media broke yesterday that Nemanja Vidic would be out for the rest of the season with a recurring knee injury, a rumour that club have dismissed today in stating that he suffered mild concussion but is fully fit.

Ashley Young is unlikely to make Wednesday night vs West Ham as his injury is described as a “dull knock” and likely to miss Sunday’s visit to White Hart Lane also.

Good news though, both Wayne Rooney and Luis Nani are set to start against West Ham at Old Trafford tomorrow with Jonny Evans likely to return for the weekend.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
