Kagawa says injury is a 'good lesson'

Shinji Kagawa has said he will take better care of himself after his back injury may have been caused by “travel and fatigue”.

Kagawa missed Japan’s 1-0 win against Iraq on Tuesday by a minor back strain.

Kagawa told reporters before leaving back to Manchester that:

“It may be due to travel and fatigue, I can get by if I take good care of my body”

“I’ve learned a good lesson from this.”

Our new Japanese signing felt a “twinge” in his back during training which kept him out of Japan’s squad just before kick-off.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
