Will Keane massive injury blow

Thomas Keane (brother) has confirmed that William Keane will miss up to 9 months after scans showed the forward had ruptured a cruciate knee ligament.

Keane suffered the injury for the England U19’s victory against Switzerland at Deepdale. The Manchester United forward faces a nine-month layoff in what threatens to be a devastating blow for a loan move this summer.

Keane will also miss the chance to travel with the reds on their pre season tour of China, South Africa and Norway along with his National chances with England in their U19’s European Championships in Estonia.

Keane was taken off on a stretcher shortly after the hour mark and left the stadium on crutches.

Enjoy that? Give it a share!
