Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that Luis Nani will not be going anywhere in the January transfer window and that his future is at the club.
Nani is currently out of action for United with a hamstring injury, some media outlets and fans felt that the injury rumours could be untrue and a fact that the Portuguese winger could be out of favour and on his way out of Manchester United.
The past few months the media have been writing that Nani is on his way out of the club after recent contract talks and wage demands along with a training ground bust up with U21 player Davide Petrucci.
The boss has spoken out about the rumours and admits that Nani is in his plans going into 2013:
“He’s injured, his contract’s not up for a year and a half.
“We need a Nani. He offers something different from the other players. He’s an incredible talent, the boy’s a great talent. Unfortunately, he’s injured at the moment so we sent him over to Dubai for a break and hoping a bit of warmth will help him in his recovery.
“He’s not far away but he’s far enough away. I don’t think I’ll get him back until probably the middle of January. It’s a hamstring injury he’s got. A player like Nani has never had a hamstring injury ever – I don’t think he’s ever had many injuries with us. But he’s got it right in the top and it’s a bad one.”
When asked if Nani has a future at Old Trafford, the boss said:
“Yes. Absolutely. Why would I want to let him go?
“Obviously his people have been negotiating with David [Gill] about a new contract but I don’t know what stage we are at with that. But we won’t be letting him go.”
Rumours over the past week have been linking Robert Lewandoski with a summer move to Manchester United but Sir Alex was quick to plays down the rumours:
“It’s nonsense, “Absolute nonsense.”

Nani still remains one of Manchester united best player that i have seen N i believe that he desevers more chances N love from d whole team and fans..because he has this great potential in him that manchester united need and i rate him the best among the wingers roles in manchester united.
